Sales Development Representative
⚡️About the Role
We’re looking for a brilliant and results-driven Senior SDR to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth by identifying and nurturing potential customers. You will take ownership in expanding our customer base through strategic lead generation efforts, leveraging your skills to engage prospects and set the stage for successful sales conversions.You’ll be working directly with the founders to grow the customer (employers) base, shaping the company & product position in the UK market.
What you'll do:
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to progress a large number of deals simultaneously. You’ll need to understand their problems and engage across multiple channels, qualifying them using your industry and product knowledge
- You’ll be involved in generating outbound pipeline and may also be involved in running trials with prospects to get your hands dirty in what it takes to bring new clients on board
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and nurturing new sales opportunities and working closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute target outreach campaigns and strategies
- Partnerships: Prospect new partnerships and opportunities, develop relationships with existing contacts and thought leaders to ensure we’re maximizing our industry relationships
- Strategy: Is the current go-to-market strategy most effective? What new sales channels should we be exploring?.
- Marketing: Collaborate with our Growth Marketing Manager to drive content creation and run marketing initiatives to grow our brand
- Work closely with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and insights to build the best quality product
What you'll need:
- You have 6-12 months of experience as an outbound SDR in a fast scaling tech startup
- Sales Experience: A track record in sales process management, particularly relating to revenue growth and retention
- Ownership: End to end sales cycle ownership with strong and consistent performance at meeting or exceeding sales objectives or quotas
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a variety of prospects
- Energy Incredible energy, passion and enthusiasm for growing a business which can have global impact
- Adaptable: Can operate at multiple levels: not afraid to roll up sleeves with more repetitive (but important) lead generation tasks, but able to think creatively & strategically about our approach
- Bias for action Fast learner, pick things up quickly, you want to hustle and do things now rather than later
- Autonomous Able to flourish in an unstructured and uncertain environment, with less formal guidance. You’re self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change
- Drive to improve You’re constantly seeking improvements to our system & process
